What is an eBook? top

An eBook is an electronic book, one you can read on your computer, laptop, or on many mobile handheld devices and dedicated eReaders.

What eBook formats do you offer? top

We offer eBooks in two different formats: PDF and EPUB. Both of these formats are DRM (Digital Rights Management) protected and require the use of an Adobe ID to read. Please note that not all titles are available in all formats, and most titles are only available in one format.

What does DRM-Protected mean? top

DRM or Digital Rights Management is a process that guarantees that the person who purchases an eBook is the owner of that eBook and that they are not sharing the eBook with others. The Digital Rights for a given eBook are managed by the Publisher who owns the copyright for that eBook.

What is an Adobe ID? top

An Adobe ID is free and only takes a minute to set up (click here to create an Adobe ID now). In order to read our eBooks you must either download the Adobe Digital Editions software for your PC or Mac, or use an Adobe Digital Editions compatible application on your handheld device. In order to activate either of these, you must have an Adobe ID.

What is Adobe Digital Editions? top

Adobe Digital Editions software offers an engaging way to view and manage your eBook library and other digital publications. Use it to transfer DRM-Protected eBooks from your personal computer to other computers or devices. Organize your eBooks into a custom library and annotate pages. Digital Editions supports industry-standard eBook formats, including PDF and EPUB. Adobe Digital Editions software is compatible with Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, as well as Mac OSX version 4.10 or higher. Click here for more information or to download now!

What is an Adobe Digital Editions compatible application? top

An Adobe Digital Editions compatible application is an application for your handheld reading device (including iPods, iPads, iPhones, and Android devices) that allows you to input your Adobe ID in order to activate that device with Adobe. We recommend using the Bluefire Reader Application. Once Bluefire Reader is installed and activated with Adobe, you may download eBooks directly on to your device using the download links provided on the confirmation page of you order, the confirmation email, or in the My eBooks section of our website. Click here for more information about the Bluefire Reader.

How do I purchase an eBook? top

You can purchase an eBook just like you would any other product on our site! You have the option of using our Search functionality, or browsing our eBooks department to find your desired title. Once you have located your book, simply add it to your cart and continue shopping or proceed to checkout and complete your order. You may purchase as many eBooks on a single order as you like, and you can even mix eBooks with non-eBook purchases on an order.

How do I download my eBooks? top

Once you have completed your purchase with us, we will display a link to download your eBook (or eBooks!) on your order confirmation page, in your order confirmation email, and in the My eBooks section of our website. Each time a download link is presented to you, you have the option of downloading for your PC or Mac, or downloading directly to your handheld device with Bluefire Reader installed. If you have already installed Bluefire Reader on your Apple iOS or Android device, simply choose that link and your download will begin immediately. Otherwise, you may choose the PC / Mac download link to begin the download to your personal computer.
